Overlook Trail
Cloudland Canyon State Park, Georgia
Cloudland Canyon State Park, on the western edge of Georgia’s Lookout Mountain, straddles a 1000 ft deep gorge cut by two different streams - Daniel and Bear Creeks.
Spectacular views of the rugged canyon, its exposed rock cliffs and dense forest, are just a short half-mile hike away from the parking lot along the Overlook Trail - this mostly flat, 1-mile roundtrip out and back trail parallels the rim of the canyon to reach the main overlook where you will be rewarded with impressive views.
